naked Retreats POLICIES

Booking policies:

1.    Weekend and public holiday rates apply for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and any official public holidays of the PRC

2.    There is a minimum 2 nights stay on weekends, Friday and Saturday, for persons wishing to rent only for 1 night will still be required to pay for the entire weekend, under these circumstances check in on Saturday is at anytime but check out is still at noon on Sunday.

3.    Normal check in times are at 3pm and check out at noon, for early check in or late check out, please inquire 48 hours prior to arrival and is subject to availability and extra charge may incur.

4.    All houses with the exception of the Purple Ridge Lodge “club house” are rented out as a whole house only.

5.    We operate on a first come first serve policy i.e. whoever confirms with us first by placing a 50% deposit. Inquiries over phone or email will not be served as a booking confirmation.

6.    naked Retreats reserves the right to cancel or refuse bookings

7.    Any corporate or special tailor made events are subject to an additional 15% service charge.

Booking recommendations:

1.    For bigger groups of 10 or more, we recommend booking at least one month in advance.

2.    In order to be able to enjoy the forest and truly immerse in nature again, we recommend a minimum 2 days visit.

3.    For any catering requests for over 10 people, we recommend you inform us at least 5 days in advance.

Payment polices:
 
1.    100% payment is required on confirmation of bookings within 21 days to date of stay

2.    50% deposit is required on confirmation of bookings which are over 21 days to date of stay

3.    Any extra purchases onsite will be billed at the end of your stay.


4.    Payment channels – payments can be made by bank transfers / cash deposits into our account or you can pay by cash / credit card at our office in Shanghai. Please note that there is a 2% and 4% handling fee for local and international credit cards respectively.

Cancellation policies:

1.    Cancellations made 21 days prior to date of booking will receive full refund

2.    Cancellations made between 5 to 20 days prior to the booking date will be liable to a 50% penalty fee on the full rental amount of the agreed booking

3.    Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the booking will be liable to a 100% penalty fee on the full rental amount of the agreed booking

4.    naked Retreats is not liable for any cancellations caused by war, hostilities, warlike operations, armed conflicts, strike, civil commotion, riots; confiscation or requisition by the public authorities; nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactivity contamination.

5.    naked Retreats is not liable for any cancellations caused by earthquake, lightning, storm, flood, volcanic eruption, subterranean fire, hurricane, typhoon, windstorm and other natural disasters.

6.    naked Retreats is not liable for any cancellations caused by any health epidemic outbreak such as SARS or foot and mouth diseases.

Rules and regulations when staying at naked:

1.    All guests staying at naked must have a form of identification (passport or Chinese ID cards) with them during their stay and is required to register on arrival. There are registration forms at our houses, which the retreats manager will distribute to your group upon arrival.
 
2.    Dogs are welcome but not allowed on the furniture inside the houses.

3.    No smoking is permitted in the naked houses.

4.    The space provided by naked Retreats is shared amongst neighbouring villagers and other guests seeking a piece of nature. Out of the respect for the quiet harmonious village lifestyles and courtesy for other guests on our properties, all noise levels must be kept to a minimum in the evenings. No loud music should be played after 21:00.

5.    naked Retreats reserves the right without any prior warning, to remove any guests from the properties who in any way behaves in a manner unsuitable in keeping with the harmony and/ or acts in ways which are against the naked company philosophy and / or abuse or harass any member of staff.

6.    Any purchase of wines, beers, equipment rentals, catering or any other services will be billed at the end of your stay and payment should be made in cash since there are no credit card or ATM facilities anywhere on the mountain

7.    Please take extra care in packing your belongings when leaving our houses. naked Retreats is not responsible for any belongings left behind after your stay with us.  We bring all the belongings we find back to our office in Shanghai on a monthly basis.

Eco Policies

1.    throw all vegetable and fruit remains into blue compost bin provided in each house

2.    recycle all paper, glass and plastic waste your group produces whilst staying with us by throwing into the recycle bins provided in each house

3.    save water and limit usage as much as possible

4.    use only one towel during your stay

5.    do not litter anywhere in the surrounding areas

6.    do not throw any pollutants into the river or springs

7.    respect the livelihood of the local bamboo plantations and do not harm or remove any bamboo on the side of the roads

9.    respect the livelihood of the local villagers and keep noise down to a minimum after 21.00

10.    avoid over usage of firewood for the wood fire ovens

Terms and agreement
By booking with naked Retreats I accept all the above terms and FULLY UNDERSTAND that all behaviour at any of the naked Properties shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The People’s Republic of China.
